Simple Spicy Popcorn
If you are looking for a nice and simple spicy popcorn recipe then this is the one for you. There are only 2 required ingredients, popcorn and hot sauce!
I like to use TABASCO brand Original or Huy Fong Sriracha Sauce because they both add a great heat to the spicy popcorn without overwhelming it. Feel free to use your favorite hot sauces though, experimenting is half the fun!
You can also add salt and butter to your simple spicy popcorn but these are completely optional because the hot sauces add so much flavor. It's a great way to have a healthy popcorn snack without loading on the salt and butter.

There are two main ways to mix your spicy popcorn together. In a bowl, or in a bag.
Spicy Popcorn in a Bag
Take your freshly popped popcorn and place it in a brown bag. If you are using butter then add the hot sauce to the butter and mix well.
Spoon the hot sauce and/or butter over the top of the popcorn. Add the salt if using it.
Close the bag and shake well until the spicy popcorn is thoroughly coated in the hot sauce.
Spicy Popcorn in a Bowl
Take your freshly popped popcorn and place it in a large bowl. If you are using butter then add the hot sauce to the butter and mix well.
Drizzle the butter and/or hot sauce over the top of the popcorn, mixing well with a spoon every few drizzles. Add the salt if using it.
Mix the spicy popcorn well one final time until it is thoroughly coated in the hot sauce.
